The Virgin of Guadalupe

December (Year TBD)

This original ballet is based on the appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego on the morning of December 9, 1531 in Mexico and the miracles that followed.

This new ballet seeks to use dance and music to tell the story and deliver the messages from the Virgin of Heaven of respecting life and it’s preciousness at all stages from conception to natural death.

“My little son, there are many I could send. But you are the one I have chosen.”

― Mary

Our Lady of Lourdes

February (Year TBD)

What was the inspiration that created this ballet. One day I attended a mini ballet soiree with a Christian theme. As I listened to scriptures and experienced the ballerinas dance to praise music, the thought came to me to write a ballet of “Our Lady of Lourdes.” I had chosen St. Bernadette as my special saint when I received the Sacrament of Confirmation and who’s life story I had come to learn more about.

“So lovely that, when you have seen her once, you would willingly die to see her again!”

― St Bernadette Soubrious

The writing of this libretto ballet was inspired by the healing messages provided to St. Bernadette by “Our Lady of Lourdes”
